A U.S. ultrasound clinic catering to Indo-Canadian couples in search of early identification of the gender of a fetus operates so far below the radar in this border town that most neighbours don’t know what it does. The clinic, called Koala Labs, is located in an ordinary looking house with vinyl siding on a quiet residential street in this city of around 4,000 people. A sign facing the street identifies the facility as a lab.
